The best months for Kite surfing are May/June to December, there is a constant wind from the sea during these months. February to April can also be good, but sometimes 30-50% non surfing days can be experienced and it is better to bring bigger kites (18/20). The water here is warm year round, so there is no need to bring a wet suit. Popular locations e,g the beaches from Cumbuco to Pecem (approx 10 kms long), lagoa de Cauipe, lagoa de Icaraí, Taìba (approx 70 kms from Cumbuco ) Paracuru (approx 100 kms from Cumbuco).
